leveraging the services of Confirmit from an external system,

Confirmit's openness is achieved through its implementation of Web Services, a collection of technology
standards that rapidly have become the dominant vehicle for composition and integration of business
components. The Web Services provide the programming interfaces that enable you to design software
around Confirmit that layer new services on top of the base system or augment its functionality and
thereby align the solution with your business needs.
